The beauty of these hairstyles is that they look so sophisticated but yet they are so simple to create. Besides, you totally can create them with 2 or 3-day hair. In addition, some of these hairstyles will give you volume and length you always want regardless of your hair length. They are perfect for medium-length, shoulder-length, and long hair like my hair.

So before I begin, My hair hasn’t been washed for 2 days and I don’t use hair clips. Now, let’s begin.

Sleek Crossover pony

This hairdo will accompany you from day to night without any disappointment. As a matter of fact, I love this hairstyle because it stays secured with 2-3 bobby pins. Additionally, It is that chic that you can wear a dress for a night out and everyone will think you have spent hours for the hairdo.

What you need:

• Elastic bands of your choice.
• 2-3 bobby pins or 2 clear elastic bands depending on your hair length and thickness. I used 3 bobby pins.

Step-by-step messy crossover pony

1. First, you will take two section from the front by going vertically with your a brush or your fingers in both of your side then clip the two sections you sectioned from the front out of the way.
2. Brush the left hair in the back and create your low ponytail using an elastic band.
3. Release the two sections from the clip. With one hand, gather one section from the front and wrap it around and under the elastic band. In order to keep the hair in place, secure it with a bobby pin. Keep wrapping it around till you have no hair to wrap.
4. Take the other section, then wrap it crossing it over the other side and around the elastic band finally, Secure with bobby pins.

To finish off, Pull hair from the ponytail to create volume or tease your ponytail and add hairspray to hold the volume. Voila! your

Note: You can twist while wrapping hair around and you can secure it with clear or black elastic instead of bobby pin ( I have thick hair so small elastic would not hold the look for me.)

Double Braid Pony

This double braid pony is chic hairdo for your busy morning. Further, It is perfect hair look if you have a serious bedhead mark issue and you want to have a quick style without washing your hair. I created a similar double braid fishtail braid look instead of a ponytail in How to do a basic fishtail braid.

What you need:

• Three elastic bands.

Step-by-step Double braid pony

1. Part your hair where you like your bangs to be. I like to have my bangs on the left. Then take one big strand from the front of one side and divide into three section.
2. Braid your hair by doing a basic three-strand braid by taking one section over the other till you have no hair left to braid. Next, secure it with a clear elastic band. repeat the braid on the other side. By taking a section from the front and braid it.
3. Take the two braid and crisscross them and gather all your hair at the nape of your hair and put in a ponytail.
4. Release the elastic from the braid and tease the braid by messaging them to give them volume. Finally, Punch your hair at the ponytail to give volume.

Note: If you want more volume, take a section of hair from the ponytail and put claw clip hair then release the hair and this will give you a volume and secure ponytail.

4 topsy ponytail hairstyle

This will give you a boho-chic quick hairstyle. You always want to achieve in minutes. Optional: I started by parting my hair from the arch of my eyebrows and I took a small section to make a small bump on the forehead and secure it with bobby pins. I recreate a similar hairstyle before in cute and easy hairstyles using bobby pins.

What you need:

• 5 to 6 elastic band ( 4-5 clear ones).
• Bobby pins to secure the bump and any fly hair.

Step-by-step Topsy Ponytail

1. Take two large section from your hair from the front and pull them back as we do a half updo. Next secure in an elastic band.
2. Create a hole behind the ponytail and flip the pony up once and twice then down through the hole. To give a loose twisted hair, message with the twisted hair with your finger.
3. Take another section from the front and repeat 1 and 2 till you create 4 topsy tails.
4. Gather all the left hair in and secure in an elastic band.
5. Punch up the ponytail. Then message the topsy tails to give volume and finish off by leaving hair from the front for a more feminine look.

Note: this hairstyle looks hard but I promise you it will take no time from you. I have done it in the car a few times when I am in a hurry.

Half braid pony

This sassy cool easy hairdo is one of my favorite from all of the 5 easy to do ponytail hairstyles. It looks more like a bubble pony but I love the detail of the braid. Therefore, I like to recreate it more than a bubble ponytail.

What you need:

• 2 elastic hair band.
• Optional Bobby pin to secure hair around the band or secure fly hair.

Step-by-step Half braid Pony

1. First, Part your hair horizontally from ear to ear so that it’s divided into two halves. Second, put the first section into a ponytail using a clear elastic band. Third, take a strand of hair from your ponytail and wrap it around the hair and secure with bobby pin.
2. Braid the ponytail with a basic three-strand braid and secure with elastic band. Then message or pull hair from the braid to have a voluminous braid look.
3. Finally, gather the second the left hair with the braid and put in a ponytail.
4. Release the elastic band from the braid and punch your ponytail.

Double Ponytail
