Hello friends!. In case you have not noticed yet, Animal print was a big deal in fall/ winter of last year. Not to mention, I featured animal print shoes in snakeskin print post last fall too. In fact, I have seen animal print everywhere from sweaters to accessories and I love that everyone started to style the beautiful animal print. There is no doubt it had its moment and when I thought that we will move on to other trends, I was surprised and happy to see it again in spring fashion week. Therefore, Today, I will be tackling the animal print trend and if it is still in style for years to come or not. I will also show you how I styled animal print aka leopard print sweater.

Animal Print trend – Is it in style ? or would it fade?
Let’s get real, there are so many trends we may be shy away and restrain from getting such as bike shorts, and dad sneakers but if there’s one trend I

There is no doubt that the animal print will not fade away any time soon. For me, It became the next black. It is a staple print in anyone’s wardrobe regardless of the weather. If we see it in fall and spring, then no doubt, it will be carried over to summer and maybe it will be in for another fall. Regardless of what will happen with this trend, I will be able to rock it in at least accessories from scarves to shoes. But for now, I will be enjoying my trendy leopard sweater.
Leopard print sweater
I am a big fan of leopard print especially the black and white one. First, the color goes with almost everything. Second, This animal print color goes well with my skin tone. Therefore, when I spotted the MK sweater at Macy’s on sale, I snagged it right away. Besides, I love the fluttery cold shoulder on this sweater. It gives that sophisticated look while elevating the modern fashion staple of this lovely animal print. The sweater is versatile to be dressed up to work with pants or casual with jeans and leggings.
Unfortunately, The sweater is out of stock. However, the trend is still there to shop around.

kept it casual with leggings
I decided to give my jeans a day off with these handy pocket stretchy comfy leggings that I have got from Athleta. An active shop that carries anything from activewear to travel, and comfy clothes for busy women.

Leggings are one of the stable pieces in my closet.
No matter how much I love to wear my jeans, pants, or skirts. I find my self leaning toward comfy leggings to take me through my day. Leggings that I can dress up with heels and dress down with sneakers or booties. My leggings are not unique in any way But they have green in them. If you know me a few years ago, you know I didn’t have any green in my closet. The main reason is that it is a very difficult color to style with my skin tone. So, I kept it to jewelry. However, That was the past.

Toned down accessories for your animal print trend

Since I turned my animal print outfit to a casual lazy look, I decided to tone down my accessories. I throw in a pair of Betsey Johnson combat booties in a neutral nude color and kept my jewelry to a minimum. The booties have a little ruffle on them which adds to the look. While I choose to have silver jewelry since it goes with my leopard sweater along with cuff bracelets.

Finally, There are so many ways you can dress up or down animal print. If you are looking for ways to dress it casually then I hope I inspired you today to do so.
